"Tiger" is a very special 5yr old, 12 lb red toy poodle, with a white star on his chest. "Tiger" and Dr. Johnson attended the North American Veterinary Conference in Orlando in 2007. "Tiger" went with Dr. Johnson to all the exhibits, and many other functions, including a trombone concert given by Dr. Johnson. "Tiger" was a real star at the conference. Veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and exhibitors were amazed that he was so young and still well behaved. He is extremely intelligent, well trained, and affectionate to both humans, and other animals. Dr. Johnson obtained him in 2005 from a kennel owner that he did consultations for. "Tiger" was a special guest of the conference. Special dogs, i.e. rescue & performance dogs are allowed in the convention center - he was included with them.
"Tiger" has been the most popular attraction of this website, so Dr. Johnson has included a few recent pictures at the end.
These last two pictures show "Tiger" relaxing after a "fun" day at the veterinary conference. The last picture shows him completely asleep.
Dr. Johnson with "Tiger" at the new Country Inn Animal Hospital, at 2 years of age. Dr Johnson does holistic consultations and integrative veterinary medicine at this location. "Tiger" is completely comfortable in the veterinary hospital environment, and actually enjoys going there!!
"Tiger" found a girlfriend at his groomers on September 20, 2007. He would not let any of the other dogs there near her. Her name is "Sugar". When he sees her picture, he runs in a circle and barks!! He has had many dates with her since. This is the only gal he has really fallen for - stay tuned!!
